Science Experiment with Mr. Landry

Today Mr. Landry came to our classroom and read us Bartholomew and the Oobleck by Dr. Suess.  After reading the story, we made OOBLECK!  Take a look at our science experiment!

Happy Birthday Johnny Appleseed!

Hello!
One of my favorite times of the year is Fall and I love celebrating Johnny Appleseed's Birthday!  During the week we studied apples:  how the grow and the seasons of the apple tree.  September 26 ended a great week of learning with Apple Day!  Here's a look at how we celebrated this year!

After working hard in apple themed centers, we made applesauce with Mrs. Kilian, Ms. Kilian's mom!  We were very thankful for all her help today!

After tasting our delicious applesauce, we shared it with our Pre-K reading buddies.  We even tasted thiers!  Who's applesauce was better?

Welcome Back!

Hello Everyone!
I love my new class!!  They seem to be very sweet and ready to learn!  I am excited about all the fun we will have this year!  It was great meeting many families at Open House and I look forward to getting to know you more throughout the year.

At the beginning of the year we read The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn.  This was a way to know that our parents are always with us even when we are at school.  I even made my students kissing hand cookies!  mmmmmm!
